Everyone,
So, after twelve years of being a band, countless tours around the world
and records being released, we have made the decision to take sometime to explore other interests in our lives. We've all reached a
point where we feel like we need to take a step back from the band and
pursue other things. PTW has been an all encompassing, full time thing
for such a long period that this isn't an easy thing to do. We want to
thank everyone who has supported us in anyway, whether it be buying a
record or a shirt, to the occasional robbery from time to time. Once
again, thanks for everything and we couldn't have done any of this
without you.

sadness...
ah this is just so sad every song and cd had so much passion and feeling in it which most bands have lost these days. this band has always been my number one inspiration in my life when times were rough or swaying i always had these songs to comfort me. Every new cd was another progression with your guys talents and musical exploration. Yeah the music seemed different with you come before you but it was still poison the well theres only so many times you can make the same record you come before you defined them versions allowed them to decide where they ultimately wanted to be and the tropic rot was nothing but perfection and the culmination of all that they have done it was the best cd they released just as they are all the best in their own respects but the tropic rot shows you the post hardcore quartet made their masterpiece and lord its good im happy it ended on such a good note but so sad that ill never get to enjoy a show again with you guys maybe someday we will see the next series in the bands musical literature.

You guys composed the music that inspired me to become who I am. I was once so blessed to open a show for you guys, and afterward I met up with you guys at a 711. Ryan recognized me from earlier that night, and asked "are you the guy that played the 5150?". It is a moment of my life that I will never forget. Thanks for everything guys.
ive been a fan since tear from the red i loved the 2 albums before and everything after i got to see you guys on the plea for peace tour @ the gypsy tea room in deep ellum , dallas tx it is still to this day one o my favorite shows id ever seen thanks guys for the countless hours of inspiration
